Help us to make history with Harrisburg’s FIRST EVER interactive Murder Mystery Ball! Step into an evening of elegance, intrigue, and excitement hosted at the historic Dauphin County Courthouse in Harrisburg, PA. This thrilling fundraiser event supports an attorney at MidPenn Legal for low-income children and their families through the Dauphin County Bar Foundation. Mingle with prominent attorneys, politicians, members of the press, and other distinguished guests!

Date: Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM at the Dauphin County Courthouse, Harrisburg, PA
Attire: black-tie. This is not a masked ball, but guests are welcome to wear masks if they like.

An Evening to Remember.

Start your night with an open bar, where you’ll enjoy free drinks and dancing with a variety of music courtesy of DJ Ben Simcox Music. Heavy hors d'oeuvres catered by the prestigious Stocks on 2nd will set the stage for a dramatic murder mystery experience in a courtroom at 7pm with a fully original script and performance that will keep you on the edge of your seat! After the performance, guests will proceed to the “Evidence Room” to investigate clues and deliberate on the crime. Participation is optional, and guests can either play individually or with a team in real-time using cellphones and a QR code - no app download is required.

Gather a winning team to compete for prizes.

Challenge your friends and rivals! Guests participating in the murder mystery may gather a team together, come up with a name, and challenge other teams to solve the clues in the "Evidence Room.” Teams may contain up to 10 people each. Guests may alternately choose to compete on an individual basis. Each team or individual will receive a “detective kit” consisting of a free pad and pen and instructions. This is perfect for law firms, corporations, professional organizations, and partners looking to prove that they are the best of the best. Each clue is worth a certain amount of points, depending on difficulty, and some will be extremely difficult. Trophies and bragging rights will be awarded to the team or individual to get the most points before time runs out!

VIP Experience.

VIP tickets receive a free VIP wristband, premium seating at the murder mystery event, an exclusive tour of the courthouse, and their names on our “Thank You/Appreciation Board” throughout the event. Get VIP tickets HERE.

Support for a Worthy Cause.

Proceeds from the Mystery Ball will benefit the Dauphin County Bar Foundation’s “We Care About Children” program, which provides funding for an attorney at MidPenn Legal Services to represent low-income children and their families. Your participation will help ensure access to justice for those in need in our community.

DONATION STATION “CONTEST”: We will have an area designated for donations accepting cash, ApplePay, Gpay, and credit cards. Each donation earns you a sticker for your contribution and our gratitude. People who “win” by having the most stickers will have the opportunity to show off their lovely collection at the end of the night!
